			Non-Growth of a Non-Profit		KI Results
			Visas for Life is a very small foundation that honors humanitarian World War II-era diplomats who perform heroic acts of courage. Though its exhibits have toured in a half-dozen countries, VFL has shaky finances, undeveloped prospects, no attendance growth at its exhibits - and an imitator stealing its message!		KI first refocused VFL's theme into an international award for heroic contemporary diplomats. Then, we recruited the Dalai Lama of Tibet to head an international board of directors. Now, we are developing: the award; a newsletter; and aggressive international PR, marketing, and development programs.


			Medical Center Loses Patients		KI Results
			San Francisco's oldest and largest hospital, St. Mary's Medical Center, is losing its market share. KI suggests that its service area is changing, from Europeans to Asians.		A pilot community relations project evolves into a six-year Asian public relations program, targeting Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino health care consumers.

			Stonewalled by the Gov.		KI Results
			The dirt, dust, and disruption of a new transit extension to the San Francisco Airport may choke a small town to death. Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is stone-walling the town; the BART directors vote in two weeks. The desperate Coalition for One-Stop Transit (COST) calls KI.		KI's emergency PR campaign captures 70 major media TV, radio, and newspaper hits! Immense public pressure is generated in only 10 days. COST wins a historic concession (BART will dig a tunnel, not a trench) that protects the town!

			Job Agency's Program		KI Results
			The MAA Council, an inner-city agency, has a gem of a program. Immigrant teens each perform a single job development task, finding low-skill job openings for adult immigrants and helping them pass the hiring process.		KI places the item with a SF Chronicle editor. The ensuing story attracts the attention of other media and the National Governor's Conference, leading to nearly $200,000 in new grants!

			US-Japan Festival		KI Results
			KI works with this annual Spring festival, providing a regional publicity campaign to draw crowds to its exhibits, demonstrations, and parade. 			A public-private partnership creates an inner-city apartment built entirely around a family -oriented concept and floor plan, with major corporate investors.		KI publicizes the ground-breaking and the opening, attracting Hispanic, Asian, mainstream press - and CNN!
